These terms govern your use of gaumaya.com and any product you purchase from us.
About us
GAUMAYA is a small gaushala-based vermicompost practice based in Narnaul, southern Haryana, India. Correspondence: hello@gaumaya.com.
Use of the site
- You may read, share, and link to anything on this site freely.
- You may not copy or republish our photography, layout, or written content without permission.
- The GAUMAYA wordmark, emblem, and name are our trademarks.
The product
- GAUMAYA is heritage Indian vermicompost. We guarantee the product to our stated specification (see The Promise).
- We do not guarantee specific outcomes in your garden. Soil is a system, and a plant’s thriving depends on variables outside our control.
- If a bag is damaged in transit, or fails our minimum specification, write to us within fourteen days of receipt. We will replace it or refund the purchase.
Orders and delivery
- Orders open with our first batch in July 2026.
- We ship only to addresses within India at launch. Export enquiries: hello@gaumaya.com.
- We reserve the right to cancel an order and refund the purchase if we cannot fulfil it to our standard.
- An order is binding once we send the “shipped” email; before that you can cancel any time at no cost.
Payments
- Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets). We do not store your card details.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of GST where applicable.
- Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and total weight.
Returns
- Defect-only returns within 14 days of delivery — bag damaged in transit, failed lab spec, or microbially spoiled.
- Replacement (preferred) or full refund including shipping. Full policy on the returns page.
Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, our liability to you for any claim arising from a GAUMAYA product is limited to the purchase price of that product.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we will update this page and note the change at the top. Continued use of the site after that constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Haryana.
